The Tennessee Quarterback Mystery - Who Will be Behind Center in 2020?

Titans fans have been on the edge of their seats waiting for GM John Robinson to choose a quarterback this offseason. Signing Ryan Tannehill again would be a viable option, but there have been lots of rumors about the possibility of Robinson welcoming Tom Brady into the lineup.

There has been hearsay about how the Titans are the number one team in the running for clinching Brady. Fans even spotted the quarterback FaceTiming Mike Vrabel at a Syracuse game. After that, even more rumors started to fly on social media. However, I think it is important to remember the Vrabel and Brady have already been friends for quite a while. Vrabel played for the Patriots alongside Brady from 2001 to 2009, after he was traded to play for the Kansas City Chiefs.

Signing Brady would be a very risky move in itself. It's no secret that the quarterback could possibly be is on his way out. At 42 years old, Brady could potentially be a liability for the team healthwise. Additionally, without his explosive defense in 2019, it is doubtful that Brady could have even taken his team to the playoffs.

Titans fans, in general, seem to be rejecting the idea of signing Brady. Ryan Tannehill seems to be the favorite amongst the fanbase after his breakout season, and even Derrick Henry expressed that he'd prefer him over Brady. Brady may be an expensive addition to the roster, but Tannehill could be looking to get paid after his 2019 performance, too. While Tom Brady is not my favorite athlete in the world, I think it is important for Titans fans to support the franchise no matter who ends up being behind center.
